Incentives offered on home sites located along Siena golf course
In conjunction with the grand opening of the Siena Golf clubhouse, the age-qualified community in Summerlin is offering special incentives on the purchase of golf course home sites. According to Jimmy Jones, vice president of sales, buyers of a golf course home site will receive a golf cart in addition to a tiered incentive credit package through Aug. 31. "While each golf course home purchase includes a golf cart, the tiered incentive credit package is based on the home site premium," said Jones. "The purchaser will receive between $2,500 and $6,000, depending on the value of the purchase made." The credits can be used on golf merchandise, lessons or rounds; food and beverage; massages; manicures; fitness classes; events; personal training; homeowners association dues; and at the design studio. "We are excited to be able to present this program in conjunction with the grand opening of the Siena Golf clubhouse," Jones said. "The addition of the clubhouse is yet another superior amenity available for buyers who are looking to reside in a golf resort community." The 13,500-square-foot clubhouse, which will hold its grand opening celebration on Saturday, anchors a Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley-designed, 18-hole, par-72, daily fee Siena Golf Club. Positioned to offer views of the 18th hole, Lake Siena and the city, the club offers a golf pro shop, and indoor and patio dining at The Siena Bistro. The golf club is open to all ages, however, Siena residents are extended preferred rates and tee times. The community also features a 15,900-square-foot health and fitness center. The facility features an indoor swim pavilion, outdoor pool and spa, tennis and bocce courts, exercise equipment, and saunas and steam rooms. There is also a wellness center run by the Summerlin Hospital and Medical Center, and a full-service beauty salon and day spa. A 39,000-square-foot community center will break ground this summer and is anticipated to open in spring 2003. The center will feature a dome-shaped lobby and lounge, grand ballroom, cyber café, business center, arts and crafts, and card and game rooms. An interim social center is home to a computer lab, billiards and card rooms, sewing center, clubs and classes. The 665-acre community features 18 single-story floor plans, priced from the $140,000s to the $650,000s and ranging from 1,040 to more than 3,100 square feet. Its newest offering, the Portofino Collection, offers four attached floor plans, ranging from 1,040 to 1,378 square feet and priced from $144,500 to $169,700. To visit, take Sahara Avenue or Interstate 215 to Town Center Drive, and travel south to Siena Monte Avenue. The model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunrise Colony Co. is also developing Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin.
