Aliante plan suits family
Christina and Aaron Pernell searched the northwest valley for a new home, and found what they wanted in the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. "We had heard about Aliante and were sure to include it among the areas we considered," Christina Pernell said. "When we arrived, we were very impressed by the overall look of Aliante and all of the family-oriented amenities." The Pernells purchased the La Magia design at KB Homes' San Destin Tivoli neighborhood. The two-story, 2,415-square-foot home features three bedrooms, a loft and 2 1/2 baths. "We immediately liked the spaciousness and openness of the floor plan," Christina Pernell said. "Then, we walked upstairs into the master bedroom and it was huge. The bonus room and secondary bedrooms were also spacious and positioned just the way we would have designed the home ourselves. We got the feeling that this would have to be our future home -- everything about it was right." The Pernells enjoy the community amenities, including the public golf course, tennis courts, parks and trails. Aliante comprises 1,905 acres and includes all-ages and age-qualified villages, which will collectively have as many as 7,500 homes. In addition to KB, D.R. Horton, Del Webb, Perma-Bilt Homes, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes are building homes in the all-ages village. Del Webb is developing the age-qualified Sun City Aliante. Homes are priced from the $180,000s to the $700,000s. An information center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go south.
