Son buys parents condo at Carlisle at Summerlin

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

When searching for a home for his parents, Mike DelGais selected one at Carlisle at Summerlin, a condominium development.

"You know it's got to be good if I'll let my parents live there," DelGais said. "I looked at Carlisle and liked the price point and what it had to offer -- the granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, garages, and the great pool and workout room."

Additional residential features include 9-foot or vaulted ceilings; two-tone designer paint; entertainment niches; maple cabinetry; ceramic-tile flooring in the the kitchens, entries and baths; and appliances that include a washer, dryer, gas range and oven, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker.

Among the six available floor plans, DelGais selected the Abbington model. It is one of two townhome-style units, each of which comes with a gas fireplace and an attached two-car garage. The Abbington provides two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, and is priced from the high $200,000s. The other unit, Aldridge, contains three bedrooms and two baths.

The other floor plans range from the Clifton, a one-bedroom, one-bath unit priced from the upper $100,000s, to the Cambourne, a three-bedroom, two-bath layout with an optional den. It is priced from the mid-$200,000s.

Floor plans at the development measure from 768 to 1,341 square feet.

The clubhouse features a kitchen, 40-inch television, fireplace, dry sauna, and fitness area with cardio and weight-training equipment.

The sales office at 10250 N. Covington Cross Drive is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
