Exec: Amenities attract buyers to Eden Ridge
Home buyers at Eden Ridge are attracted to the Summerlin neighborhood's amenities and structured wiring package, according to builder Pulte Homes. Located in the guard-gated Willow Creek village, the neighborhood features home sites measuring up to three-quarters of an acre and a private park with basketball and tennis courts, a picnic area, barbecues, playground, and trails. Three floor plans are available, ranging from 3,087 to 3,890 square feet. Prices start from $415,990. "Eden Ridge is a wonderful community that is attractive to home buyers because it offers a private, intimate feel being that it is an all-single-story neighborhood," Joe Whatley, vice president of sales and marketing, said. "Our homeowners at Eden Ridge are impressed with the overall design of the home exteriors and streetscapes in addition to the three unique floor plans that offer popular features such as turret entries, patio fireplaces, and casitas or cabanas." According to Whatley, a structured wiring system is standard with each home. This package includes Category 5e (enhanced) wiring, which increases the number of video inputs, and telephone and cable outlets, and allows homeowners to control functions of telephones, televisions and computers from one location within the home. The 3,735-square-foot Savoy floor plan features a turret entry, four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, an office, formal living and dining areas, family room, dining nook, pantry, and owner suite with a bay window and patio access. The Radcliffe model offers 3,087 square feet, three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a den, dining nook, columns, formal living and dining rooms, columns, and an optional cabana. The Biltmore floor plan features 3,890 square feet and is designed with three bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, a three-car garage, casita, optional garden cabana, and dual walk-in closets and vanities in the owner suite. The homes include covered patios; security systems; covered front entries or courtyards (per plan); front-yard landscaping; and finished garages with openers, cabinets and workbenches. The interiors offer cabinets and sinks in laundry rooms, 8-foot raised-panel doors, ceramic-tile flooring in select areas, art niches (per plan) and separate tubs and showers in owner suites. Island kitchens feature pull-out shelving, crown molding, optional granite counter tops, double ovens, dishwashers and gas cook tops. The homes have received the EPA 5 Energy Star seal for such energy efficiency features as ground-mounted air-conditioning units, gas heat and blown-in insulation. To visit, take Sahara Avenue to Town Center Drive, turn south, proceed to Havenwood Lane and follow the signs. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when it opens at noon.
