Home release slated at Pardee's Big Sky Ranches

Pardee Homes will release its newest phase of homes next Saturday at Big Sky Ranches in the southwestern valley, according to Rob Tuvell, sales director.

"For families who want the wide open spaces of a large home with enough room left over to build a good-sized guest house, Big Sky Ranches is the neighborhood for them," Tuvell said.

Four designs offering as many as seven bedrooms are available on home sites that measure about one-third acre. The floor plans range from 2,624 to 3,839 square feet and are priced from $256,450 to $277,950.

The option for a separate 500-square-foot guest house, which can also be used as a home office or fitness center, is priced from $29,000 to $37,000.

"The guest house is so popular that more than 25 percent of our buyers are choosing that option," Tuvell said. "But they are also getting elegant courtyard entries, spacious libraries, and enormous game rooms for their families and friends."

Buyers may also opt for a super master bedroom, studio/exercise room, super bonus room, game room or den.

The designs have garnered the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star seal for exceeding national standards for energy efficiency by at least 30 percent. The builder ensures that 100 percent of its new homes comply with Energy Star guidelines.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Rainbow Boulevard, go north about a mile to Patrick Lane and turn left.

The models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.

Pardee Homes marks its golden anniversary this year in Southern Nevada, where the company has built 25,000 homes since 1952.
