Gardens, waterfalls to highlight MiraBellaSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Among the many housing options at Lake Las Vegas Resort is MiraBella, a collection of villas located behind the gates of the SouthShore development. "This is the perfect opportunity to preview one of our most amazing single-family home communities at this prestigious residential resort," said Jack Christie, vice president of sales and marketing for the resort. "MiraBella features incomparable architectural design and breathtaking views -- the perfect place to call home." MiraBella is built into the hillside and adjacent to the ninth hole at SouthShore Golf Club. Combining Italian and Spanish architecture, the homes measure from 3,730 to 4,220 square feet and are priced from $1.55 million. Home sites as large as one acre are available. Amstar Universal LLC is developing the neighborhood on a site overlooking the 2,600-acre resort's lake, which measures 320 acres and features 10 miles of shoreline. MiraBella will be highlighted by numerous gardens and waterfalls. Residents will have membership opportunities at SouthShore Golf Club, SouthShore Yacht & Beach Club and the Harbor Club, all of which are members-only facilities. SouthShore is a 550-acre Mediterranean-themed development. Custom-home sites are available among several enclaves with views of the lake, mountains and golf courses. These lots are priced from the $300,000s to more than $2 million. Also available are waterfront villas situated on a secluded peninsula, executive homes set in the hills above the lake, and golf villas that overlook the SouthShore course. On the north shore, the resort offers three distinct residential enclaves, all of which align the Reflection Bay Golf Club. Included are semicustom townhomes and single-family homes, single- and two-story golf course homes, as well as European-style villas. North shore residences are priced from $400,000 to more than $1 million. The lake provides opportunities to swim, sail, kayak, canoe, wind surf and sport fish. Gasoline-powered vessels are prohibited. A full-service marina is open. The resort's third golf course, The Falls, is expected to open for public play in September. A fourth course, Rainbow Canyon, is planned. MonteLago Village, an upscale shopping and dining experience, will open early next year with a spa, casino, boutiques, restaurants, office space and condominiums. A 496-room Hyatt Regency hotel is open, and a 350-room Ritz Carlton is under construction. Potential residents of the resort community are offered 45-minute water taxi rides on the lake. To visit, take Interstate 515 to Lake Mead Drive and head east to Lake Las Vegas Parkway. Or, take Interstate 215 to Lake Las Vegas Parkway.
