Del Webb to unveil Solera center
Preparations are under way for Del Webb to unveil its new 6,052-square-foot sales center at Solera at Anthem, an age-qualified community within the Anthem master-planned community in Henderson. "We'll soon be moving from our temporary presales office to a brand-new sales center. Our models are progressing at a fast rate and the model village will be open to the public very soon," sales manager R. Wayne Wermuth said. Until then, potential buyers may visit the models when accompanied by a sales associate. Landscaping at the new model village will highlight water-conservation practices. "John Resly and I wanted to present a model park that is water smart," landscape division manager Don Richards said. "One of the models displays a drought-tolerant plant palette with various rock textures that also generates perennial shrub color throughout the year. Another is a more formal geometric design with a beautiful rose garden in the back yard." The community will have 1,750 homes upon buildout on about 400 acres. Four floor plans are offered, priced from the mid-$170,000s to more than $220,000. They measure from 1,140 to 1,771 square feet and offer two or three bedrooms, and two baths. Energy-saving features are featured, including integrated wiring, low-e windows, a cocoon insulation system, and heating and cooling systems that exceed Energy Star requirements. Community amenities will include a recreation center with club and hobby rooms, billiard tables, tennis and bocce courts, and computer and craft rooms. In addition, there will be a fitness center with a swimming pool. To visit the temporary sales office, take Eastern Avenue south to Anthem Parkway, turn left and proceed to 2246 Somersworth Drive, which is across from a fire station. The office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
