Pulte supers choose homes in Diamond Creek

Four of Pulte Homes' superintendents not only work together, but they live in the same neighborhood. Fidel Alvarez, Brandon Laughter, Kam Valgardson and Todd Whiting are all residents of Diamond Creek, a northwestern valley neighborhood.

Alvarez, Laughter and Valgardson opted for the 1,418 plan.

"We chose a Pulte (home) for the great value and the quality," said Alvarez, who shares the home with his wife, Carmen. "As a superintendent, I see firsthand the materials and quality that go into constructing a Pulte home, and that played an important role in our decision."

Laughter, a nine-year employee, said, "I shopped around before purchasing the 1,418 plan at Diamond Creek. I liked the quality of Pulte best, the Environments for Living building technology and the great location away from the city."

Valgardson and his wife, Sarianna, consider their purchase a wise investment.

"My wife and I chose Diamond Creek because it was the best product in our price range, it has a high resale value, and they are superior quality homes," Valgardson said. "The community itself is beautiful, and our overall experience was great. I also know firsthand how well Pulte takes care of their customers."

Features in the 1,418 plan include a family room, separate tub and shower in the master suite, and three-car garage.

Whiting and his wife, Kari, chose the 1,653 plan, which they share with their 7-month-old daughter Kaylee. The home offers a great room at entry.

"It's a wonderful floor plan, and it really makes it comfortable for friends and family to come visit," Whiting said. "Pulte has a reputation of really taking care of their homeowners, and Pulte homes have a very high resale value."

Diamond Creek has single- and two-story homes available, measuring from 1,418 to 2,284 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Homes are priced from $150,990 to $186,990.

For a limited time, the builder is offering a washer, dryer, refrigerator and mini- blind package with the purchase of a new home.

All homes feature Pulte's Platinum Series Environments for Living building technology and the Energy Star label. In addition, Pulte Living Certified homes offer a two-year heating and cooling guarantee.

A neighborhood park is open.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, head east to Jones Boulevard and go north. At Elkhorn Road, turn right and proceed to Thom Road. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; noon to 7 p.m. on Monday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Pulte Homes, the nation's largest home builder, is developing 11 neighborhoods in Southern Nevada. The builder plans soon to open three additional neighborhoods: Sage Hills, Cara Vella and Wyeth Ranch.
