Street of Dreams homes draw thousands
Street of Dreams representatives report that thousands of visitors each week have toured the four luxury homes featured in the show since it opened May 4 in MacDonald Highlands in Henderson. Among those visitors were Andrea and Dennis Stokes, New Jersey residents who were in town on vacation. "Street of Dreams presents a wonderful way to become familiarized with just about every conceivable style of space plan and interior design," Andrea Stokes said. "We are here visiting relatives, and attending this show has been a highlight of our stay. It gives the average person an opportunity to take their time and tour a variety of opulent homes on a single street." The show features the first hillside homes in a Street of Dreams event. It ends June 16. The participating builders are: GJM Development, 5 Star Development/Hi-Con Inc., Job Construction and Sun West Custom Homes. Their homes measure from 5,408 to 8,251 square feet, and are priced from $1.995 million to $3.75 million. Show hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays and closed on Mondays. Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for senior citizens and children ages 4 to 12; and free for younger children. Ticket sales stop at 6:30 p.m. To attend, take Interstate 215 to Valle Verde Drive then go south to Horizon Ridge Parkway and the parking lot, which is on the northwest corner. Street of Dreams Inc. is a Seattle-based international promotions company whose sole business is producing luxury home tours. Additional shows are planned this year in Orlando, Fla.; Mesa, Ariz.; and Vancouver, British Columbia.
