SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

The 2002 Concert in the Park series in Seven Hills kicked off last weekend with an evening performance by Walt Blanton's Jazz Band. Hundreds of music lovers converged on Sonata Park for the event, according to Samantha Bonham, community marketing manager.

"Homeowners in Seven Hills share a strong sense of community, which is especially evident at our outdoor concerts and events," she said. "It's great to see so many people coming out to meet their neighbors and interact in such a fun way.

"It is also representative of the social infrastructure fostered by the Seven Hills Builders and, most importantly, our homeowners, whose attendance make these programs such a huge success."

Next in the series is Latin Breeze, a salsa dance band scheduled to perform June 29; Island Thyme, a Caribbean band, will entertain Aug. 10; and The Fab, a Beatles tribute band, will appear Sept. 21. A Halloween event is planned for Oct. 25.

All performances are free and co-sponsored by Seven Hills Builders and the city of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department.

A development of Silver Canyon Partnership, Seven Hills is located in the foothills of Black Mountain. At buildout, the 1,300-acre community will comprise more than 3,000 homes in 25 distinctive neighborhoods. The single-family homes are priced from the low $200,000s. Also featured are custom-home neighborhoods, where lots are priced from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue to St. Rose Parkway, drive west about a mile to Seven Hills Drive then go south. The sales pavilion is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
