KB Home helps canines
KB Home has teamed with the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to present "Paws Cause II," a dog adoption event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Saturday in the builder's Iron Mountain Ranch neighborhood. "Our first Paws Cause event was such a great success that we wanted to host another one," Leah Bryant, Las Vegas Division president, said. "This is a great opportunity for adults and children to find a new best friend." Refreshments and dog training demonstrations will be offered, and the builder will pay $50 of the NSPCA's standard adoption fee of $85 at the event. Those adopting animals will receive a doggie bag full of goodies for their new pet, including a doggie bowl. "KB Home helped find homes for nine dogs at the first Paws Cause event, which was a huge success," Larry Grissom, NSPCA director, said. To attend, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard and turn left. Proceed to Farm Road, turn right, drive to Leon Avenue and turn left. At Sterling Moon Road, turn left. Iron Mountain Ranch offers 11 models and 27 floor plans, measuring from 1,098 to 3,633 square feet. Prices start from the $120,000s to $230,000s.
