Buyer praises Pardee's sales staff
Anita Ruiz said Pardee Homes' sales staff made her purchase of a new home a pleasant experience. The businesswoman chose a residence at Tamarind, the builder's newest neighborhood in Eldorado Highlands in North Las Vegas. "After dealing with other builders, I really appreciated Pardee's sales team," Ruiz said. "They were friendly, welcoming and really easy to deal with because they work as a team to guide you through the home-buying process." Ruiz, who owns and operates a novelty business, said her previous home was like her first car, "a junker." "I had to rely on begging people to help me when things went wrong," she said. "I know there are far fewer problems with a new home, but Pardee has anticipated almost every question or concern that I might have by giving me a large, customized binder that spells out who to call and what to do." Ruiz purchased the two-story Plan Three with four bedrooms and three baths in 2,513 square feet. "When I saw it, I thought, `Wow, this is a really cool home.'" "We get the same reaction about these homes from all of our buyers," sales director Rob Tuvell said. "From singles to large families, Tamarind receives a lot of praise." Buyers can choose from four single- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 1,914 to 2,959 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and three baths. The homes are priced from $340,950 to $405,950. Highlights include volume ceilings, a front porch or courtyard, and high-speed wiring. Options, per plan, include a retreat, home management center, bonus room, loft, tech center and library. All homes are Energy Star rated, keeping them warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer while reducing the cost of energy. They exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent. To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte, go north until it becomes Camino Eldorado then head northwest. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m. Eldorado contains a fire station, an elementary school with an adjacent park, and the 23-acre Seastrand Park. Pardee has built homes for nearly 30,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
