Vistana's location draws buyer
Shannon Brockman is excited about finally owning her own home. She said the choice of community was easy: Vistana at Rhodes Ranch, a condominium complex in the southwestern valley. Brockman, who plans to move in next month, likes the location of the property. "I work (at a) company located right off Interstate 215," she said. There are nine floor plans from which to choose. Three feature one bedroom and one bath in 670 to 796 square feet. Five offer two bedrooms and two baths, and range from 847 to 1,200 square feet. The largest residence, the three-bedroom, two-bath Venice plan, measures 1,413 square feet. Each home features an appliance package and window coverings. Prices start from the low $70,000s to more than $100,000. The three-year Las Vegas resident, originally from Tampa, Fla., selected the Monaco model. "Because of how the Monaco floor plan is laid out, (it's) almost like having two master suites in my home," Brockman said. "I also love the closet space and all the cabinet space in the kitchen." Community amenities include three planned pools, a two-story fitness center and a spa. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, go south to Warm Springs Road and follow the signs. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
