Enclaves built for privacy
One of the more popular releases at Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin is The Enclaves neighborhood, featuring homes priced from the $300,000s to more than $2 million, according to builder Sunrise Colony Co. "The Enclaves offers buyers the opportunity to live in an exclusive country club community in a home priced under $400,000," sales director Kevin Stall said. "In addition, the homes are located off the golf course, which brings added privacy. There are also a limited number of homes within The Enclaves that are located on cul-de-sac home sites." Many of The Enclaves buyers are repeat customers. "Our home buyers really know a good thing when they see it and The Enclaves represent a tremendous value within the Red Rock Country Club community," Stall said. "An opportunity such as this does not come around very often." The neighborhood features homes in the Acacia Collection, offering one- and two-story designs ranging from 2,155 to 3,451 square feet. Each offers three architectural styles, including Spanish Colonial, Tuscany and Italianate. These homes offer features such as courtyards, covered patios, optional golf cart garages and three-car garages. A design staff can guide buyers with floor plan variations. One of the floor plans is Plan 1204, a 3,451-square-foot, L-shaped design with as many as five bedrooms; 4 1/2 baths; an island kitchen; courtyard entry; family room with a fireplace and media niche; and an owner bedroom with a retreat, media niche and optional fireplace. Plan 1102 measures 2,503 square feet with three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a dining bar and nook in the kitchen, courtyard entry, covered patio, and split three-car garage. The home can be built with an attached casita, which functions as a second suite with a sitting area. Its family room offers a fireplace, media niche and optional wet bar. Plan 1101 is a single-story, 2,155-square-foot home with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a great room, kitchen with a morning room, and optional golf cart garage. Three other collections of floor plans are offered within the community. The guard-gated country club is located at the foothills of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. It is home to an 18-hole golf course, the first of two planned courses designed by Arnold Palmer, as well as a golf practice facility with a double-ended driving range, putting green and chipping areas. Other amenities include a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse with a pro shop, banquet facilities, a boardroom and two dining rooms. A sports club offers exercise equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a supervised children's play center. An aquatic center features a family, adults-only and lap pools; spa; splash-and-spray mini-park; and outdoor grill. A tennis facility has nine hard-surface courts, including a stadium court. To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or take Interstate 215 to Sahara. Models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunrise Colony Co. is also developing the age-qualified Siena community in Summerlin.
