COLUMN: CCIM designation awarded

-- Scott Wallat, senior financial analyst for American Nevada Corp., has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. Wallat is a two-term past president of the Las Vegas Chapter of Construction Financial Managers Association, and began his real estate career as a broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial Investment Real Estate in Torrance, Calif.

-- Southwest Engineering promoted Grant Tokumi to project engineer. Previously, he was an engineering intern responsible for performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, designing drainage and flood control facilities, and designing and preparing civil improvement plans.
