Trade magazine ranks Pulte among `best'

In a national survey conducted by Professional Builder Magazine, Pulte Homes was named one of the "101 Best Companies to Work For." The results appeared in the publication's June issue, and the magazine received more than 6,000 nominations representing more than 300 companies.

Odeh Kheir, architectural manager for Pulte Homes, cited the company's family-type atmosphere as being key.

"Pulte is such a family oriented company," he said. "We work hard, and Pulte takes the time to recognize our spouses and families for supporting us."

The company's Las Vegas Division has more than 100 employees, and Saundra Ware, a sales agent at Gresham Park, mentioned the company's sense of camaraderie.

"We are always helping each other," she said. "The construction team and everyone at Pulte are wonderful to work with. Everybody has such a positive attitude and is always willing to help each other, no matter what department you are in."

Pulte Homes, the nation's largest home builder, currently offers 10 new neighborhooods in Southern Nevada. Wyeth Ranch will open soon to the northwestern valley.
