rateOne launches discount lending program

rateOne Home Loans, a nationwide mortgage lender, takes pride in helping its clients achieve homeownership, according to representatives of the company.

That's why the company's Las Vegas office is offering a discount to select Southern Nevada residents.

"Las Vegas has been a great home to us, and we wanted to thank locals by giving them a special discount rate on their own home loans," general manager Doug Shaffer said.

"We pride ourselves on giving customers the best possible services and rates."

Qualified borrowers who live in any of the Las Vegas, North Las Vegas or Henderson zip codes, from 89009 to 89199, may save $300 on their loan fees when they finance through rateOne.

The offer is valid through Sept. 30. Restrictions apply and can be explained by a rateOne representative at 7660 S. Industrial Road, Suite 201. Counselors are available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shaffer said it is important for potential borrowers to explore various types of mortgages with a loan counselor, because different home buyers have different needs. He also advised keeping good financial records at home, and to bring them to the loan appointment.

The company offers a range of financing programs, including fixed- and variable-rate loans, FHA/VA, first-time buyer loans and stated-income loans.

Refinancing programs are also available.

rateOne has been in the lending business for more than 35 years.
