Couple praise Help-U-Sell
When Don and Vicki Kutsenda decided to sell their home in the northwestern valley, Help-U-Sell Real Estate Solutions came through for them. "I called two companies," Vicki Kutsenda said. "The other company didn't call back, but Help-U-Sell called back right away." Kutsenda was delighted with the company's policy that has agents handling transactions only within assigned zip codes. She felt this allowed the agents to better serve their clients. "(Our agent) just handles our area. He doesn't jump in the car and show houses in other parts of town," she said. At Help-U-Sell, clients pay only for the services they use. All fees are based on the selling price of the property. The agency markets the property, which includes advertising, a lock box and signage. The sellers show their own properties, can conduct open houses and receive full representation. The seller is responsible for paying the commission of the buyer's agent. Kutsenda said her two-story home sold within days for $270,000. "We paid off our current home with the profit from the sale, and will call (our agent) back in about 18 months when we're ready for the next move. The people at Help-U-Sell have been a real pleasure to work with. Our motto has always been that we have to like who we give our money to. They treated us right." Help-U-Sell Real Estate was formed in 1976 in California. The company opened its first Southern Nevada office in 2001. There are 12 offices valleywide, and plans are under way to open five more within two months.
