Christopher program simplifies custom-home building

Christopher Homes' Build on Your Lot program provides a "one-stop-shopping" experience for luxury-home buyers, sales agent Dana Limon said.

"People who wish to build an exquisite home on their choice of custom-home site in any area of town will be amazed by the ease and simplicity of (the program)," Limon said. "The focus is on helping each buyer create their own masterpiece without the hassles and concerns involved in trying to design and build a luxury home from square one."

Buyers may choose from a range of designs, each offering several variations, and can preview selections via video, photography or, in many cases, by walking through a completed model home.

Prices for the homes, excluding the lot, start in the low $500,000s.

Limon said the main benefits of the program are the time savings and convenience.

"When we build your dream home, you will not be running all over town to meet with architects, engineers, designers and subcontractors."

The builder also makes the selection of design elements easier through its design center. Through the program, buyers may select options such as elevators, motor courts, courtyard fireplaces, detached casitas, room additions, four-car garages, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars and wet bars.

"We're even there for you after move-in, should there be any warranty issues," Limon said. "Our client services department will make sure that everything is properly taken care of."

Christopher Homes can even help the buyer find a lot. The company's staff is familiar with the local codes, architectural review processes and home sites throughout Southern Nevada.

Information can be obtained at the builder's most recently completed home, an estate at MacDonald Highlands that is open for a limited time from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Valle Verde Drive and go south, past Horizon Ridge Parkway, to the guard-gated entrance.
