Sunrise Colony flexible at The Estates in SummerlinSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Custom-home site buyers at The Estates at Red Rock Country Club will find its developer, Sunrise Colony Co., to be flexible when the time comes to build their home. "Red Rock Country Club provides its buyers with ... a great selection of luxury, semicustom floor plans along with the tools to create their dream house through our Sunsation program. And, buyers always have the option of working with their own builder," sales director Kevin Stall said. Buyers who do not have a builder can choose a floor plan from the developer's Palo Verde Collection, which is comprised of three designs priced from the mid-$500,000s to the mid-$600,000s. Plan 4101 is a single-story home measuring 3,765 square feet with three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. It offers a great room, island kitchen, owner bedroom with a retreat, fireplace and media niche. A four-car garage and a trellis-covered patio are also featured. The two-story Plan 4202 can be built with as many as five bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, three fireplaces and a four-car garage. The home, which measures 4,728 square feet, also provides a courtyard entry leading to a circular foyer and the family and dining rooms. The kitchen has an island cook top and a nook, while the upstairs owner bedroom offers a retreat. A media room is optional. Plan 4203, a two-story design, offers four bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths in 5,300 square feet. Additional features include a living room, dining room, butler's pantry, courtyard entry and four-car garage. A curved staircase leads to the upstairs. A wine cellar and a theater or media/game room are optional. Each plan in the Palo Verde Collection offers an optional casita with bath. Custom lots within The Estates, a gated neighborhood, range from 15,000 to 20,000 square feet and are priced from $315,000 to $500,000. "With 86 total home sites, including just 28 that remain available, The Estates is a secluded offering of home sites with tremendous views of nearby mountains as well as the golf course ...," Stall said. Through the Sunsation program, Sunrise Colony acts as the general contractor, providing a team of experts to assist buyers in working through the details of custom construction including permitting and inspections, architectural approval and design guidance. Red Rock Country Club homes are priced from the $300,000s to more than $2 million. The community features the first of two 18-hole golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer as well as a practice facility with a double-ended driving range, putting green and chipping areas. The course is highlighted by rugged terrain and includes canyons with 100-foot drops, lakes, waterfalls and streams. Additional amenities are designed for people of all ages, and include an aquatic center with a family pool, spa, adults-only pool and lap pool. An outdoor grill is also available. The mountains can be seen from the sports club, which offers workout equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a supervised children's play area. A tennis center is also available, and features nine hard-surface courts including a stadium court. The hub of activity is the clubhouse, which has a golf shop, banquet and meeting rooms, and two dining rooms. To visit the guard-gated community, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to the Sahara exit and go west. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
