Developer pledges support of St. Jude's Ranch
Bramble Development Group has made a pledge to St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City. For each home sold at the builder's Spanish Steps Lakeside condominium development, also in Boulder City, $100 will be donated to the home for abused and abandoned children. Larry Sayers, president of the building firm, plans to donate $11,200 to the organization from sales at the 112-unit complex, where floor plans range from 1,100 to 2,300 square feet and are priced from $169,999. Model-home construction is expected to be completed by Sept. 1. The ranch has been caring for children since 1967. Although its operations have expanded since then, much of the maintenance has been deferred, and the property is in need of major renovation, according to Father Bill Cantrell, chief executive of the ranch. "We are so pleased that Bramble Development Group was the first in line to help us with this concern," he said. "We are actively seeking assistance with labor and materials to complete the necessary work, and the financial assistance from Bramble will help us with the items we need to purchase."
