KB Home launches service campaign
KB Home staffers not only promise to build the best possible home for their clients, they also dabble a little in show business. A pep rally was held recently to kick off the builder's "I Strongly Agree" campaign, which ensures that every home buyer is satisfied through each step of the home-buying process. Then, when buyers complete the customer satisfaction survey, they check the box labeled "I Strongly Agree." At the rally, staffers put on skits and performed song-and-dance routines centered around satisfying home buyers. "The rally was not only informative, but highly entertaining. Our staff amazed me with their creative, imaginative and enthusiastic performances," said Leah Bryant, president of the company's Las Vegas division. A map depicting 10 steps to homeownership was unveiled at the rally, and detailed the following: Finding the right home; completing a purchase agreement; creating the perfect home; approval; and building excitement. Also included was: building excitement; taking shape; finishing touches; getting to know your home; signing the closing papers; and presentation of the house keys. "Buying a home can be an intimidating experience, and our goal is to thoroughly inform our homeowners of each step so they feel confident and comfortable," Bryant said. "As a team, KB Home wants to make sure that our home buyers get the home they want, just the way they want it. Our 10-step process will help then attain that goal." As an example, Bryant cited the step to creating the perfect home. Buyers are encouraged to visit the builder's design studio and browse all the options. Also, they should bring fabric swatches, paint samples and other ideas for their new home. Buyers are encouraged to consider all of their choices, including appliances, electrical fixtures, landscaping, pools and other items. A design consultant will review the option selections with the buyer at the finalization appointment, which takes about two to three hours. "Each and every one of our KB Home team members is 100 percent committed to making the home-buying experience a positive one for our customers. We want our new-home owners to check the `I Strongly Agree' box for every aspect of their home-buying process with us. And, after seeing all the enthusiasm and energy at our recent pep rally, I am convinced we will make that happen," Bryant said. KB Home also offers it customers the services of its Homebuyers Club and Home Finding Center. Through the Homebuyers Club, potential home buyers receive free assistance, including credit reports, a review of their financial situation and credit counseling, if needed. The Home Finding Center helps buyers find their home quickly based upon their income, size of home desired and location. The builder is developing more than 20 neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley.
