Avante's Elk Ridge nears final phase

Avante Homes' Elk Ridge, a gated neighborhood located in the northwest valley, has 45 homes still available for sale, sales agent Laura Skaggs said.

"We have sold more than 200 homes since our official opening last July," she said. "To accommodate the demand, Avante Homes stepped up the construction schedule ... we are in a unique position to offer our buyers the convenience of being able to move into their new home within as little as 30 to 90 days."

Priced from the low $300,000s, the neighborhood features two collections of homes. A total of six floor plans ranging from 1,616 to 2,755 square feet are showcased, and can contain as many as seven bedrooms, plus a bonus room and a three-car garage.

Skaggs said the designs can be modified, and cited the neighborhood's outdoor amenities as well.

"Our homeowners have the luxury of their own neighborhood park, which is nearly four acres and has a well-equipped children's play area," she said. "As an added benefit, the rear yards in Elk Ridge measure up to 40 feet deep, which provides plenty of room for a swimming pool and outdoor entertaining."

Skaggs believes the neighborhood may soon move into its final close-out phase.

Interior features include upgraded kitchen cabinetry, granite counter tops, platinum-finished plumbing fixtures, satin nickel locksets, steel light fixtures, and an energy-efficiency package.

"Each home is engineered with low-e windows, radiant barrier sheathing, R-13 exterior wall insulation and other key elements that are geared toward enhancing comfort and reducing utility bills for our buyers," Skaggs said of the package.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 north to Durango Drive, go east to El Capitan Way, travel north to O'Hare Way and turn left. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Sunday when they are noon to 6 p.m.
