Christopher Homes' program eases custom-home building procedure

Christopher Homes is simplifying the custom-home building process by offering buyers use of its luxury-home designs through its Build on Your Lot program.

"The program offers luxury-home buyers an opportunity to select one of our popular residential designs and have the home built on their choice of home site -- in any custom-home community in the valley," sales agent Dana Limon said. "All of our residential designs are all proven plans, and they offer a number of possible floor-plan variations and optional customizing features."

Options include elevators, motor courts, courtyard fireplaces, detached guest quarters, room additions, four-car garages, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars and wet bars.

Floor plans range up to more than 6,200 feet and are priced from the $500,000s, excluding the home site.

Limon said the program reduces the time and cost associated with building a custom home.

"Bypassing the time-consuming design process enables us to have the home completed in a short time frame, as little as eight months."

Buyers can view available designs via photographs or videos. In some cases, furnished models are available.

Each purchase includes consultation with the builder's representatives to select design variations, options and interior amenities.

In addition, the builder can provide assistance finding a home site. Staff members are familiar with building codes, architectural review processes and custom-home neighborhoods throughout the valley.

For a limited time, information about the program is available at the builder's custom show home in the guard-gated MacDonald Highlands community in Henderson. It is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday, for a limited time.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Valle Verde Drive and go south, past Horizon Ridge Parkway, to the the community's entrance. A guard will provide further directions.
