Tantara showcases versatile designs

Rhodes Homes offers versatile two-story designs at its Tantara neighborhood within the Rhodes Ranch community in the southwestern valley.

Available floor plans range from 1,734 to 2,412 square feet.

"People who are buying a new home want a design that reflects their own unique personality. We created spacious interiors, with a lot of little extras, that allow for greater diversity in decorating potential," said Glynda Rhodes, director of interior and architectural design.

She said homes include 50 standard features that are often considered options such as 6 1/2-inch baseboards, a recirculating hot-water system, and low-e windows that prevent 90 percent of the sun's ultraviolet rays from entering the home, resulting in lower energy costs.

"We could have gotten by without the extras, but we wanted to be different. And the people who have moved into Tantara have definitely noticed the difference," Rhodes said.

Home prices start at $459,000.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Sunset Road west. Or, take Russell Road west to Fort Apache Road, turn left and proceed to Sunset and turn right.
