Solera passes one-year milestone

Solera at Anthem, Del Webb's 385-acre development in the southern portion of the Anthem master-planned community, recently passed its one-year anniversary.

The amenities of the master plan, combined with a simplified home-buying process and the community's smaller size, has drawn buyers to the development, senior sales manager R. Wayne Wermuth said.

"Solera at Anthem's home buyers truly prefer a quieter, more serene neighborhood environment with all of the benefits of the Del Webb lifestyle," Wermuth said.

Five single-story home designs, each with a two-car garage, are available. Plans call for a total of 1,870 homes in the development.

At 1,140 square feet, the Lewis plan features two bedrooms, two baths, and a great room. It is priced from the low $300,000s.

The 1,251-square-foot Clark plan offers three bedrooms, two baths, and living and dining rooms. The home starts from the $310,000s.

Highlights of the 1,424-square-foot Fremont plan include three bedrooms, two baths, a great room, and dining room. It is priced from the $350,000s.

The Whitney plan, which measures 1,591 square feet and features two bedrooms, two baths, a den, and great room, is priced from the $405,000s.

The 1,771-square-foot Franklin plan offers three bedrooms, two baths, a great room, and dining room. Prices for the design start from the $410,000s.

Amenities include two-tone paint, ceramic-tile flooring, ceiling fans, Corian kitchen counter tops, and nooks.

Each of the homes qualifies for certification under the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program and includes energy-saving features such as low-e windows and blown-in cellulose insulation. In addition, by using Environments For Living building technology, the homes offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, turn left and proceed to Somersworth Drive. The office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
