Cortina model's value impresses home buyer
Don Snow and his daughter, Tovia, enjoy their new Richmond American home at the builder's Cortina neighborhood in the northeastern valley. "We had been looking for a home for quite a while and finally found what we were searching for at Cortina," Snow said. "I searched all over town to find the best value possible. The quality and options included in the base price were too significant to turn down." Snow purchased a Chula Vista design, which is priced from the low $190,000s. Measuring 1,308 square feet, the design has three bedrooms, a great room and kitchen nook. A tech area can be converted into a half bath. "We really needed a three-bedroom home that didn't waste a lot of space. The Chula Vista offered the requirements we needed, and made the home feel open at the same time," he said. Two other designs from the builder's Vista collection are available. The two-story Buena Vista measures 1,146 square feet and is priced from the $170,000s. It includes two bedrooms and two baths, as well as a single-car garage. Options include a downstairs powder room. The Alta Vista is a single-story design priced from the $110,000s. Measuring 555 square feet, the plan has one bedroom, a kitchen nook and great room. Information about the neighborhood is available at the builder's Tierra Mesa subdivision, also in the northeastern valley. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Lake Mead Boulevard, head east to Bonnie Lane and go north. Richmond American Homes offers more than 30 new-home neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley. All sales offices and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday and Friday, when they open at noon.
