Pardee celebrates opening of Nevada Trails

Pardee Homes of Nevada will introduce Nevada Trails, its newest planned community in the southwestern valley, next weekend with a "Happy Trails" grand opening party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday's activities will include country western entertainment and refreshments. Cooking and floral arranging demonstrations will be featured next Sunday.

Energy-saving features of the homes will be demonstrated both days. The homes at the community have merited the EPA's EnergyStar label and carry the "ComfortWise" designation.

The community, located one mile south of Interstate 215 at Rainbow Boulevard, features three neighborhoods, 11 model homes, 13 acres of parks and 10 acres of trails, according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales for the builder.

"You can get away from it all in this spectacular setting with a backdrop of the Spring Mountain Range," he said. "But you can also get on the beltway and in just minutes be on the Las Vegas Strip."

The gated Saddle Peak neighborhood offers three single-story floor plans priced from the mid-$200,000s. Ranging from 2,565 to 3,025 square feet, the homes feature as many as five bedrooms, three baths and a three-car garage.

The homes offer courtyard entries, island kitchens, and several design options, including covered patios, sunrooms, secondary owner suites and home offices.

The Silver Tree neighborhood offers four floor plans that range from 2,000 to 3,844 square feet. Priced from the low $190,000s, they offer as many as seven bedrooms and four baths. Two- and three-car garages are featured.

The designs offer formal living and dining rooms, family rooms and great rooms. Options include a guest suite, bonus room, secondary owner suite and workshop.

The Manzanita neighborhood features four designs, measuring from 1,414 to 2,566 square feet.

With as many as five bedrooms, two or three baths, and a two- or three-car garage, the homes are priced from the mid-$150,000s.

To visit the community, take Interstate 215 to Rainbow Boulevard, go one mile south to Robindale Road and turn right into the model park. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built homes for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952, and is developing the master-planned communities of Rancho Las Palmas in the southeastern valley, and Eldorado in North Las Vegas.
