Lake Las Vegas salutes `America's Sweethearts'
In celebration of the upcoming release of "America's Sweethearts," Lake Las Vegas Resort is offering free tickets to the movie that was filmed in part at the residential, golf and resort destination in Henderson. Through July 31, the public is invited to tour five featured neighborhoods and their 20 decorated models on both the northern and southern shores of Lake Las Vegas. Guests at each neighborhood must have their pass validated to receive two complimentary adult movie passes to see the film. The passes are limited to two per household and are subject to availability. In addition, visitors at each community will be eligible to win a complimentary weekend stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort. To participate, visitors must stop by the resort's Discovery Centre to pick-up their validation card, then have it validated by authorized personnel at each of the featured neighborhoods. "Lake Las Vegas Resort truly offers a wealth of fine residential communities in a variety of styles and prices. From luxury hillside resort lifestyle homes priced from $400,000 to luxury lakeside villas priced from $1.47 million, Lake Las Vegas Resort has a lot to offer," said Rod Gilliland, senior vice president of sales and marketing. Two of the featured neighborhoods are located within the 550-acre guard-gated community of SouthShore. PortaCielo, a development of Innovative Resort Communities, has eight of its 72 Mediterranean-style homes remaining. Incentives are available and include front-yard and courtyard landscaping, courtyard pavers, upgraded cabinetry, and two-tone paint. Floor plans measure from 2,460 to 3,500 square feet and are priced from $510,000. MiraMonte offers 23 single-story homes, designed and built by Villas at SouthShore. Located on a gated peninsula, the neighborhood is the only current residential offering at the resort to offer direct lake access. The remaining homes include all furnishings and are ready for occupancy. Buyers can choose from three floor plans, ranging from 2,867 to 3,119 square feet and priced from $1.47 million. On the northern shore, potential buyers can visit three residential sites. Ravello, a gated neighborhood nestled into the hillside and adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus-designed Reflection Bay Golf Club, features 24 villas and three floor plans, ranging from 1,972 to more than 2,300 square feet. Priced from $499,900, the neighborhood is a development of Dempsey Construction Corp. and InnovaHouse. MarQuis Homes, a division of Centex Homes, is building the 52-home neighborhood of Sorrento, which also aligns the golf course. Four single- and two-story floor plans are available, ranging from 3,000 to more than 4,850 square feet. Prices start from the $620,000s. Vila di Lago, a guard-gated collection of 147 homes, is being built by AmLand Development. The neighborhood, nestled into the hillside and bordered on three sides by the golf course, offers single-family homes and courtyard townhomes. The 80 single- and two-story detached homes measure from 1,855 to 2,536 square feet, while the 67 attached townhomes range from 1,603 to 2,526 square feet. Prices start from $400,000. Most lots can accommodate a pool and spa, according to the builder. Lake Las Vegas Resort is being developed by Transcontinental Properties Inc.
