Buyers settle at Pardee's Fiesta



After searching the Las Vegas Valley for eight months, Dave and Nancy Amati found their "perfect home" at Pardee Homes' Fiesta neighborhood in North Las Vegas.

"The house is just gorgeous and the floor plan layout fits our needs perfectly," Dave Amati said. "We know we are getting more for our money in this location."

The couple bought the largest model, the Plan Four, which includes as many as four bedrooms, three baths and three-car garage in 2,315 square feet. The design is priced from $183,950.

Amati, a security service technician, and his wife Nancy, who is in the timeshare industry, said they "heard so many good things about Pardee and the quality of the homes. We found out that the people are just super, too, from the sales agents to the superintendent."

Priced from $142,450 to $183,950, the single-story neighborhood will consist of 138 homes when complete. The designs include three or four bedrooms with options for a nursery, retreat, secondary master suite, den and powder room in some floor plans.

Sales executive Rob Tuvell said that all of the homes have met the Energy Star standards set by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency for energy efficiency.

"In addition to being a great value in a great neighborhood, Fiesta's Energy Star homes include extra savings in energy costs," Tuvell said. "There are many built-in features that contribute to this added efficiency."

Such features include spectrally-selective glass that helps keep out about 75 percent of harmful UV rays, and sealed ducts that allow heating and cooling systems to work more efficiently.

Among the other floor plans at the neighborhood is Plan One. The 1,383-square-foot design includes three bedrooms or two bedrooms with optional den, two baths, and a two-car garage. It is priced from $142,450.

Plan Two features three bedrooms, two baths, and a two- or three-car garage in one plan which measures 1,593 square feet and is priced from $149,450. It can also be built with three bedrooms, two baths, a family room, two-car garage, and optional nursery or retreat for $151,450.

Priced from $163,950, Plan Three includes three bedrooms, two baths, two- or three-car garage, and 1,836 square feet. The design also can include four bedrooms, two baths, two-car garage, optional den and 1,986 square feet; this option is priced from $166,450.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to Craig Road, head west to Allen Lane, and then go north, following the signs. The sales office and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they are open at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built homes for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
