Rhodes' The Collection opens with a bang

Rhodes Homes celebrated the Fourth of July weekend by kicking off sales for phase one of The Collection, a neighborhood at Rhodes Ranch.

Eleven floor plans are available, ranging from 1,467 to 4,138 square feet. Homes have from three to five bedrooms and offer features such as a library and a third-floor master-suite retreat. New models focus on homes as large as 3,042 square feet.

Prices start from the mid-$400,000s.

"Independence Day was a great opportunity for people to see these new homes and to visit the Rhodes Ranch community," sales executive Bruce Marten said. "The opening of phase one gives buyers an opportunity to get involved in the very beginning of an exciting new development."

Marten cited the community's "oasis-like" atmosphere as being ideal for families.

"At Rhodes Ranch, residents love walking along the golf course paths and biking through our winding streets," he said. "And when we complete construction of our new recreation center, with swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis courts and other amenities, neighbors will have even more opportunities to enjoy."

Many home sites align the fairways of Rhodes Ranch Golf Club and offer views of the city and mountains.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive and head south. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
