Turnberry Towers sales exceed builder's forecast

Sales have exceeded expectations at Turnberry Associates' newest luxury high-rise development, Turnberry Towers, according to the builder. The first tower sold out in less than three months and sales for the second 45-story tower are under way.

"Once prospective purchasers are introduced to Turnberry Towers, they discover the advantages of the Turnberry lifestyle including, living in an ideal location near the Strip with low maintenance, five-star service, luxury amenities and much more," said John Riordan, vice president of sales.

Purchasers can choose from residences with one bedroom and 1 1/2 baths; two bedrooms and two baths; two bedrooms, a den and two baths; and three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. They measure 815 to 1,655 square feet and are priced from $500,000 to more than $1.3 million.

"The one-bedroom residences were highly sought after in the first tower, and we are seeing that same pattern in the west tower," Riordan said.

Located at Paradise Road and Karen Avenue, the gated development will feature 318 units in each tower, which are scheduled for completion in 2008.

The condos will include amenities such as Italian marble baths with spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, upgraded appliances, and 9-foot ceilings.

Additionally, the condominiums will feature high-tech communications which will enable residents to request their car from valet, or communicate with the front desk, schedule a maintenance appointment or learn more about nearby dining and entertainment options.

Each of the towers will have a fitness facility, outdoor swimming pool with sundeck, landscaping, tennis court and 24-hour security.

The sales office features a 1,658-square-foot model, and is located at 222 Karen Ave. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The South Florida-based developer was established in 1967. It also is co-developing The Residences at MGM Grand.
