Family moves up in Eldorado
Chris and Marci Reikowski recently purchased their second home in Pardee Homes' Eldorado community in North Las Vegas at Cielo. For the past eight years, the family has lived in the builder's Ranches neighborhood, one of the first neighborhoods in the community. "We bought our first home eight years ago at the Ranches here in Eldorado when our oldest, Nicole, was only one-year-old, and now we are very excited to be moving into our new Cielo home," Chris Reikowski said. A lot has changed for the Reikowski family since moving to Eldorado. Chris Reikowski has changed vocations from the U.S. Air Force to the Clark County School District, and their son, Ryan, was born five years ago. "We're moving from a 1,700-square-foot home at the Ranches into an enormous 2,990-square-foot home in Cielo without having to leave the community," he said. "We really didn't consider shopping around anywhere other than Eldorado when we decided to move up to a larger home because Eldorado is home. Besides, Marci's parents also bought a home in Cielo about one block away from our new home," Reikowski said. "Because we're staying in Eldorado, we don't have to be concerned about moving Nicole into a new school. She will continue at Lee Antonello along with her brother Ryan, who will be starting there this August." The Reikowskis selected the Plan Two design, a two-story home with four bedrooms, three baths and a bonus room. With design options, the home can be built with as many as five bedrooms, three walk-in closets, a bedroom on the first floor, loft, and three-car garage. Standard features include volume ceilings, ceramic-tile or parquet flooring at the entry, and cultured-marble counter tops in secondary baths. The neighborhood offers one- and two-story floor plans with as many as five bedrooms, three baths and four-car garages. Designs measure from 2,407 to 3,006 square feet. Homes are priced from $177,450 to $200,950. Kitchens include ceramic-tile counter tops, choice of appliance packages, a pantry, island sinks and preparation islands in select plans, and choice of cabinetry. Owner retreats offer walk-in closets, dual sinks, separated toilets, and separate showers and tubs with glass enclosures. The Eldorado community offers a Neighborhood Watch Program, as well as the 9-acre Eldorado Park adjacent to Lee Antonello Elementary School, and the 23-acre Seastrand Park. To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and travel north to Eldorado's main entry. Model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m. Pardee has constructed homes for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
