Model-home complex open at Allerton Park

Model homes open today at Cypress at Allerton Park, a Woodside Homes neighborhood in the Summerlin Centre within Summerlin.

"We're convinced that our spacious floor plans, elegant designs, highly upgraded option list and amazing location in the heart of Summerlin make Allerton Park a highly desirable address," company President Seth Ure said.

The gated enclave offers three floor plans ranging from 2,356 to 3,175 square feet, and priced from the low $500,000s.

Standard upgrades include cherry wood cabinetry, wrought iron and cherry wood stair rails, travertine flooring and granite kitchen counters.

Allerton Park will comprise more than 200 homes at buildout, including the Palmilla home series of three floor plans from 2,575 to 3,124 square feet and priced from the mid-$500,000s. Resident amenities will include a private park with a pool and spa.

Summerlin Centre is a 1,300-acre mixed-use village.

"Summerlin Centre will combine the best of suburbia with vibrant urban offerings, including restaurants, shops and boutiques and outdoor gathering places," said Kevin Orrock, an executive with The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of the master plan.

Summerlin contains more parks, trails, schools, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, business parks and nearly 100 model homes.

Single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and lofts are available from the low $200,000s to more than $2 million. Custom-home sites are priced from the $600,000s. Monthly rent for apartments starts from the low $900s.
