First-time buyers choose homes at Brighton Village

Unique floor plans, locale impress shoppers

Katherine Mertz and Nathanial Workman both purchased homes at Brighton Village, a Warmington Homes neighborhood in the southern Las Vegas Valley.

Both are first-time home buyers, and pleased with their purchase decisions.

"Once I toured the models at Brighton Village, I was immediately impressed with the floor plans," said Mertz, an athletic coach at a college. "I chose the Residence Two because I really like how the kitchen and family room flow together and create an openness that is very conducive to entertaining."

Residence Two measures 1,243 square feet with dual master suites.

Workman selected Residence One, a two-bedroom home measuring 1,194 square feet.

"At Brighton Village, I discovered that I could afford to buy a detached home instead of a condo for the same money, which really surprised me," said Workman, an electrical engineer. "I was surprised too that my new home includes a full-size washer and dryer, refrigerator, blinds on the windows and doors in the purchase price.

"My job demands that I pay very close attention to detail and I have been careful to observe the quality and workmanship that has gone into the construction of my new home. So far, everything looks really good and I feel really great about my decision to purchase a Warmington-built home. I am very much looking forward to moving in just a couple of weeks."

Four floor plans are available, ranging from 1,194 to 1,432 square feet with two or three bedrooms. Prices start from the $200,000s.

Exteriors display private backyards, landscaped front yards, shutters, covered entries, one-car garages and 20-foot driveways, per plan.

Interiors, per plan, include kitchens with oak cabinetry, an appliance package, living and dining rooms, and upper-level laundry rooms.

Common areas are landscaped and include a swimming pool, a cabana and a play area.

The builder offers an interior upgrade package with window blinds, a washer, dryer and refrigerator, as well as $7,500 toward closing costs to buyers who finance through its preferred lender. Incentives for first-time buyers and veterans, and rate-lock options are also available.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Windmill Lane, go west to Maryland Parkway then travel south for 3 miles.

The office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Mondays, when it opens at noon.

Warmington Homes Nevada is part of the Warmington group of companies, which this year celebrates 80 years in the home-building industry.
