Condominium shoppers become new-home buyers at Altessa, according to Pacific Properties executive Scott Lawrence, whose company is developing the complex in Summerlin's The Vistas village.
"There are dozens of examples of condo conversion projects dotting this valley," Lawrence said. "We chose to be among the few who built from scratch. Buyers appreciate the peace of mind they get when purchasing a brand-new luxury condominium. ...

"Altessa is a one-of-a-kind community. With its unique architecture, standard features and floor-plan variations, there is no other community like it. Our Summerlin setting overlooks the mountains and the entire valley."
Each building is designed to resemble a single-family home with no breezeways, staircases or parking lots. Landscaped courtyards separate the buildings.
Interiors feature vaulted ceilings, curved walls and arches.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans measure as large as 1,333 square feet.
Amenities include granite counter tops in kitchens and baths, cherry-stained cabinetry, lighting fixtures, crown molding, two-tone neutral paint, upgraded flooring and stainless steel refrigerators. Select floor plans offer gas fireplaces, window seats, pantries, computer niches, patios or balconies, and direct-access garages. A variety of sizes and configurations are available.
All 280 units feature ground-floor entries.
"In developing Altessa, our goal was to design and decorate around our idea of what a condominium should offer," Lawrence said. "Building new gave us the chance to control every aspect of the layouts, designs and finishes."
Common areas include a European-themed clubhouse with a fireside lounge, kitchen and fitness center, as well as lawns, barbecues and a resort-style swimming pool and spa area with waterfall features.
Prices start from the high $100,000s.
To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Far Hills Avenue, go west to Carriage Hill Drive, head south to Park Vista Drive and turn left, then left again into the complex. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Sundays, when it closes at 5 p.m.
