Game show auditions held at Iron Mountain Ranch

KB Home offers myriad floor plans at its Iron Mountain Ranch community in the northwestern valley. However, on Saturday, July 13, the builder will offer something more -- a chance to audition for the television game show "Weakest Link."

Auditions will be held at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session will include about 50 contestants.

Between sessions, visitors are encouraged to tour the community's 11 model homes. Twenty-seven single- and two-story floor plans are available, ranging from 1,098 to 3,633 square feet and priced from the $120,000s to the $230,000s. Homes can be built with two to seven bedrooms, two to four baths, and a two- or three-car garage.

Three additional model homes showcasing the Mesa Series are under construction.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard and turn left. Proceed to Farm Road, turn right, drive to Leon Avenue, turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Friday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Among the services provided by the builder is the Homebuyers Club, which assists potential buyers with credit reports, a financial review and credit counseling. Also available is the Homebuyers Club, which provides information about all of the builder's neighborhoods. A full-service design center is also open.

KB Home builds in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and Florida. The company is also one of the largest builders in France. It also operates a full-service mortgage company.
