Fiesta's single-story homes draw buyers
Sharon and Sheldon Gottlieb believe that they received the "most value for the money" at Pardee Homes' Fiesta neighborhood in North Las Vegas. "Our new home is big, but homey. And we like the way it was designed," Sheldon Gottlieb said. The two had been looking for a neighborhood with all single-story homes. They purchased a 1,986-square-foot Plan Three design. "Fiesta has been one of Pardee's most popular neighborhoods due to the single-story designs, strong location and good prices," sales executive Rob Tuvell said. In addition, each home has earned the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label certifying it is at least 30 percent more energy efficient than a standard home. Features include spectrally selective glass that eliminates 75 percent of the sun's ultraviolet rays, reducing energy costs and preventing fabric from fading, and sealed ducts that allow heating and cooling systems to work more efficiently, Tuvell said. Measuring 1,383 square feet, Plan One includes three bedrooms, or two bedrooms with an optional den, two baths and a two-car garage. It is priced from $151,950. Plan Two features three bedrooms, two baths, and a two- or three-car garage in a design measuring 1,593 square feet and priced from $162,450. Another configuration features three bedrooms, two baths, a family room and a two-car garage with an optional nursery; it is priced from $173,450. Plan Three offers three bedrooms, two baths, and a two- or three-car garage in a design measuring 1,836 square feet and priced from $181,450; or four bedrooms, two baths, a two-car garage and an optional den in a design measuring 1,986 square feet and priced from $189,950. Four bedrooms, three baths, a three-car garage, and optional den and powder room highlight Plan Four. It measures 2,315 square feet and is priced from $200,450. Per plan options include a secondary master suite, choice of den location, or nursery off the master suite. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Craig Road, exit west to Allen Lane, and go north 1 1/4 miles. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m. Pardee has built homes and communities for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
