The lobby of Turnberry Towers, a luxury high-rise development in the central Las Vegas Valley, will set the tone of the property with a contemporary, cutting-edge feel, according to Nick Luaces of Nick Luaces Design Associates, who created the common areas at the development.
"The lobby will not be a traditional design like the lobby area at Turnberry's first high-rise community in Las Vegas, Turnberry Place," he said. "The look and feel will reflect a more modern and sleek design."

Modern artwork, marble flooring and wood paneling will accent the lobby of the two 45-story towers, which are under construction at Paradise Road and Karen Avenue. The first high-rise is expected to open in spring 2007.
Homes will include Italian marble baths and spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, high-end appliances and 9-foot ceilings.
Several floor plans are available, including a one-bedroom residence with 1 1/2 baths; a two-bedroom, two-bath home; a two-bedroom home with a den and two baths; and a three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath unit.
One-bedroom residences feature great-room layouts with counter bars. Units with dens offer 180-degree views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
In the second tower, the two-bedroom, two-bath residences flow through the entire floor to provide wide-angle views.
Situated on the top 12 floors of the towers, the three-bedroom residences feature extended balconies to enhance the views.
Prices start from $550,000 to more than $1.3 million.
Each tower will comprise 318 units, as well as a fitness area, an outdoor pool, landscaping, tennis courts, valet and 24-hour security.
The sales office displays a 1,658-square-foot, furnished model suite. It is located at 222 Karen Ave.
