The lobby at Turnberry Towers, a high-rise residential development by Turnberry Associates, will feature a contemporary feel with cutting-edge design, according to Nick Luaces, president of Nick Luaces Design Associates, which is designing all public areas at the project.
"The lobby will not be a traditional design like the lobby area at Turnberry's first high-rise community in Las Vegas, Turnberry Place," he said. "The look and feel will reflect a more modern and sleek design."

The design of the lobby calls for features such as modern artwork, marble floors and wood paneling.
Located a block from the Strip, the 10-acre project features dual 45-story towers with a combined 636 homes on a guard-gated site. Completion of the sold-out east tower is slated for spring 2007, while construction of the west tower begins in February with completion estimated for spring 2008.
Amenities include a fitness facility in each tower, an outdoor pool equipped with a sundeck, landscaping, tennis courts, a valet, as well as 24-hour security.
Available homes include a one-bedroom condo with 1 1/2 baths; a two-bedroom, two-bath unit; a two-bedroom, two-bath home with a den; and a three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath model.
Prices start from $500,000 to more than $1.3 million.
Amenities include Italian marble baths, spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, upgraded appliances and 9-foot ceilings.
Select homes provide views of the Strip and surrounding mountains. Situated on the top 12 floors of the towers, the three-bedroom residences feature a balcony.
"More people are discovering the advantages of the Turnberry lifestyle including living in an ideal location near the Strip with low maintenance, five-star service, luxury amenities and much more," said John Riordan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Turnberry Associates' western region.
The sales office at 222 Karen Ave. features a 1,658-square-foot model. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
