Trump International Hotel brings condo-hotel concept to Las Vegas

Condo-hotel developments across the country have seen an enormous increase in popularity recently, according to Jack Christie, vice president of sales and marketing for the Trump International Hotel and Tower Las Vegas, a 64-story tower development, which is less than 100 sales away from a sellout of its 1,282 units.

"Las Vegas and condo-hotels are a perfect fit," Christie said. "This concept is ideal for people who frequent Las Vegas."

The 2 million-square-foot, 64-story, 24-carat-gold and glass-encased tower includes 880 studio and 352 one-bedroom suites on floors 16 through 59, as well as 50 one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouses on the upper five floors.

"Many people who buy at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas are second-home buyers," Christie said. "This type of purchase is ideal for them because they can purchase a unit, use it as they please and rent if out when they're not using it. The buyers are able to enjoy all of the amenities and services Trump has to offer without anything to worry about."

Buyers have five options when they purchase a unit. They can live in it full- or part-time, or rent it out themselves, through hotel operations, or through an outside company.

Each suite comes with contemporary furnishings, such as glass coffee tables, Brazilian Rosewood dining tables, tufted upholstered dining chairs, and silver-toned chandeliers. Master suites offer a suspended drapery bed set into a recessed ceiling.

The homes feature one to 3 1/2 baths with Breccia Oniciata floors, rounded vanities with silver and gold hardware, and marble top; floor-to-ceiling windows; and European-style kitchens with Wolf, Bosch, Dacor and Sub-Zero appliances. Other amenities include owner's closets, flat-screen plasma televisions, wireless Internet service, and in-suite movies.

Prices start from the $600,000s to more than $6 million.

On-site amenities include 24-hour concierge and security services; a day spa, fitness center and salon; heated outdoor pool and sundeck with a bar; business center with meeting facilities; dining options, and doorman and valet services.

The sales office is located at the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Fashion Show Lane.
