Glengarry homes emphasize design

Anthem Highlands' plans aim for elegance

The premiere of new models homes at Glengarry in Anthem Highlands has drawn buyers' interest, according to sales agent Amy Klabunde.

"Everyone is thrilled by the elegant look of the paver-stone driveways and walkways and the slab granite kitchen countertops. And of course, our Everything's Included package that includes all appliances, refrigerator, washer and dryer and full window coverings."

Located within Anthems master-planned community in Henderson, in proximity to Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, the neighborhood offers five home designs from a 1,270-square-foot, single-story to a 2,458-square-foot, two-story design. Prices begin in the $300,000s.

"Very few communities can compete with what Glengarry offers," Klabunde said. "To be a part of Anthem Highlands with this type of quality community in this price range is really incredible."

The single-story Carnegie is a three-bedroom, two-bath home with a two-car garage.

The Aberdeen is a two-story design in 1,959 square feet with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths.

Design highlights include a full-width veranda at the master suite, under-stairwell storage and a covered patio off the combination family room and kitchen. A utility room provides direct garage access.

The four-bedroom, two-story St. Andrew is a 2,092-square-foot design highlighted by a master suite veranda and first-floor covered patio.

The kitchen includes a pantry and center island, 2 1/2 baths and a two-car garage.

The Turnberry is the largest model and includes 2,458 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, covered patio and second-story veranda. The front door is recessed and set at an angle with a double-door entry that opens to a formal foyer with guest powder room. The design includes formal living and dining rooms with a raised-hearth fireplace separating the formal living area from the family room.

The Muirfield is a two-story design of 1,615 square feet with two bedrooms and a bath on the first level and the living areas and master suite at the second-story.

Paint colors, appliances, cabinetry, flooring, granite countertops, GE washer and gas dryer and 2-inch blinds at all windows throughout the home are standard EI features. In addition, each design is equipped with a side-by-side 25.4 cubic foot refrigerator with ice dispenser. All homes are Energy Star-certified.

Visitors can enter to win weekly drawings throughout January for a 42-inch plasma, HD TV and $300 spa gift certificate.

To visit, take Sun City Anthem Parkway to Bicentennial Parkway, Bicentennial to Democracy Drive and follow signs to the Welcome Home Center.

Model homes are open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Wednesday when they close at 3 p.m.
