Rhodes brightens families' holiday

Rhodes Homes recently sponsored Christmas for 191 families, according to company President Jim Rhodes.

Each family was given a turkey dinner with rolls, stuffing and vegetables. Additionally, each child received a $20 gift card.

"We wanted to make the holidays a little better for those that couldn't afford to enjoy this festive season," Rhodes said.

The families were selected by HELP of Southern Nevada. Rhodes Homes employees assisted with the distribution.

The builder has nine active subdivisions in the Las Vegas Valley priced from the mid-$80,000s to more than $1 million.

In northwest Las Vegas, it is building The Preserve, a ranch-style neighborhood with homes priced from the high $200,000s.

In the southwestern valley, the company is building Spanish Hills, a custom-home development with homes priced at more than $1 million; and The Villas, a neighborhood of two-story homes priced from the mid-$100,000s.

At the Rhodes Ranch community, the builder offers The Links, The Lakes, Vistana and The Falls. Homes within these neighborhoods at priced from the $80,000s to the $300,000s.

The builder offers its Platinum and Gold Collection at Palm Hills in Henderson. The neighborhood features homes measuring as large as 4,005 square feet and priced from the high $100,000s.
