Anthem attracts newlyweds

Del Webb's Anthem Country Club in Henderson proved to be the ideal spot for realty agents Allison and Brian Anderson to begin their married life.

"We looked through other guard-gated communities in the Las Vegas Valley for the right home and decided on Anthem Country Club because of its numerous amenities," Allison Anderson said. "We were planning our wedding while looking for a new home; in fact, the house was ready before we got married, so I moved in before Brian did."

Among the amenities at the all-age community are a 3,700-square-foot athletic club with pools; cardiovascular equipment; an aerobic studio; locker and steam rooms; a full-service salon; and basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.

"Brian and I chose the Newport model which featured an extended patio and great room that we couldn't pass up," Anderson said.

"We're on the final countdown," senior sales manager Jeb Koury said. "We've only got one home remaining. The fully designed and furnished Huntington model, priced at $1.6 million."
