Meritage unveils Northern Terrace

Builder joins Providence master-planned community with opening of 15 models

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

After closing out a year that included the opening of 50 new model homes, Providence continues its growth in the northwestern Las Vegas Valley with the grand opening of Meritage Homes' Northern Terrace Jan. 27.

The community will add another 15 models to the 1,200-acre master plan, located at Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and Hualapai Road.

Plans for the subdivision are similar to Meritage's Yellowstone community, located within the Mountain's Edge master plan. Both communities include four villages comprised of single-story homes centered by a recreational facility.

"The master plan of Providence is focused upon creating a small town American-inspired lifestyle for our residents that encourages social interaction among residents," said Deonna Stocker, manager of information center operations for Focus Property Group, master planner of Providence and Mountain's Edge. "Northern Terrace has a design and functionality that is conducive to this way of life and the community's great mixture of model homes is certain to appeal to home buyers."

The Northern Terrace community will be anchored by The Club at Northern Terrace, a multi-million dollar facility expected to open soon.

The Club will offer three swimming pools and a spa with shade canopies. Residents will have exclusive use of the club's outdoor barbecue, indoor and outdoor play areas for children, fitness center and entertainment great room. The Club will have full-time staff available to assist home owners and coordinate special events.

The community offers 15 floor plans with a variety of single- and two-story home designs within the villages of Concord, Andover, Salem and Brookline.

Prices in the community begin in the $200,000s.

The sales center is open from the hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
