Red Hills condo fits needs of buyer
David Lerner found the ideal floor plan, location and lifestyle at the Red Hills condominium development in Summerlin. The former New Jersey resident said he had spent about a year in search of a new home. "Once I saw the models at Red Hills, I knew my search was over," Lerner said. "The Hopi plan suited me perfectly, with a single-story design on the lower level; three spacious bedrooms; and a garage, which was a very important feature for me." The guard-gated development's low-maintenance lifestyle also impressed Lerner. "The lifestyle is exceptionally convenient, as maintenance of the community amenities is handled through the association," he said. "Not having to worry about mowing a lawn or cleaning a swimming pool gives me the extra time I need to devote to charitable endeavors I'm involved in." Six garden and penthouse floor plans are available, ranging from 1,217 to 1,591 square feet with as many as three bedrooms and two baths. Each home has an attached garage, an appliance package and window coverings. Interiors offer 9-foot ceilings; granite-hearth fireplaces; granite kitchen counter tops; cultured-marble tubs and vanities; and ceramic-tile flooring in the kitchen, entry, secondary bath and laundry room. Prices start from the mid-$120,000s. Some homes are ready for move-in at the complex, which is being built in The Pueblo village by TSG Inc. Amenities at the community include paver-stone streets, a pool and spa, sunbathing deck, clubhouse, and fitness center. To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Rampart Boulevard, go north to Vegas Drive and turn right. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
