Two-story homes highlight Timberline

Timberline at Shadow Hills is a "nice surprise" for buyers looking for a larger home, according to Ruth Ochoa, vice president of sales and marketing for Perma-Bilt Homes.

"The homes range in size up to 3,800 square feet and offer a variety of semicustom features," Ochoa said. "In addition, the neighborhood is set amid our Shadow Hills ... community, which offers stunning mountain views to the west and views of the Las Vegas Valley to the east plus a gated entrance."

Buyers can choose from four two-story floor plans, which are priced from $232,950.

"Timberline's floor plans are designed with a variety of semicustom features, such as options for casitas, home offices, dens and extra bedrooms," Ochoa said. "In addition, the homes feature distinct exteriors, including some with rock trim, wood shutters and designer wrought-iron work..."

The Bishop plan features five bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in 2,895 square feet. A split three-car garage is standard, and a den or loft is optional. The kitchen has an island and nook, which is adjacent to the family room.

With 3,706 square feet, the Ponderosa model offers five bedrooms and four baths plus a three-car garage. Kitchen features include an island workstation, a pantry, and swinging door to the dining room. A home office is optional.

The Torrey plan measures 3,536 square feet and can be built with as many as six bedrooms and four baths. A split three-car garage is standard, while a casita is optional.

With 3,883 square feet, the Monterey plan is the largest available. This home offers seven bedrooms, four baths, a laundry room and curved staircase. The island kitchen is adjacent to the family room, which features a fireplace. A deck above the home's front entrance is optional.

Residents can access the Shadow Hills Club, which has a swimming pool, lap pool, spa, saunas, a workout room, clubroom and kitchen. Also featured is a barbecue area, patio seating, a half basketball court and putting green.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue and head west. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
