Pardee celebrates grand opening at Eldorado Highlands

Activities commemorating Pardee Homes' opening of Eldorado Highlands in the Eldorado community in North Las Vegas continue today.

The model complex, across the street from the 23-acre Seastrand Park, will host juggling acts, face painting, balloon artists, a canine Frisbee demonstration and refreshments from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"Pardee is delighted to introduce the new Eldorado Highlands model complex that is situated high above the Las Vegas Valley," Rob Tuvell, area sales manager, said.

"The new complex features the neighborhoods of Talavera and Fontana, which offer a choice of eight single- and two-story homes in the already very popular Eldorado master-planned community."

Priced from the mid-$120,000s, Talavera offers four one- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 1,380 to 2,296 square feet with three to five bedrooms, optional dens and lofts, and a three-car garage with some plans.

The kitchens are designed with preparation islands or a breakfast bar in one plan and include laminate counter tops, oak cabinetry, a pantry, and an appliance package.

Fontana features one- and two-story homes, measuring from 1,825 to 2,710 square feet with three to five bedrooms, an optional bonus room, and a loft and three-car garage in select plans. Homes are priced from the mid-$130,000s.

Pardee has spent the past 10 years developing Eldorado, which will eventually comprise about 20,000 residents in 5,000 homes.

Community amenities include a fire station; elementary school; and Eldorado and Seastrand parks, both of which were built by the developer.

To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and proceed north to the entrance of Eldorado. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
