KB Home promotes grand opening festivities at Iron Mountain Ranch

KB Home will celebrate the grand opening of its newest community, Iron Mountain Ranch, on Saturday and next Sunday.

The free festivities will include a petting zoo, pony rides, western barbecue, prize drawings and big screen TV sweepstakes. A radio station will broadcast from the site on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., and a local country-western band will perform on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

The northwestern valley community offers three series of homes -- the Prairie, Frontier and Sierra. Ten of the 17 floor plans are modeled. The one- and two-story designs range from 1,245 to 3,633 square feet.

The homes are priced from the $120,000s.

The builder also provides Kaufman & Broad Mortgage Co. and the Homebuyers Club on-site. The Homebuyers Club offers potential buyers free access to counselors who can assist them with all aspects of buying a home, such as selecting a floor plan, credit repair and budget design.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard and travel about three miles north to the community. The sales office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Friday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
