Red Rock executive touts Ocotillo series

Showcasing two versatile single-story floor plans, the Ocotillo I series at Red Rock Country Club offers home buyers several design options and appointments, according to Kevin Stall, vice president of sales at the guard-gated community in Summerlin.

"With their open floor plans and den options, the plans in the Ocotillo I series have been particularly popular with home buyers who enjoy entertaining and those who have needs for fewer bedrooms and their own office space," Stall said.

Priced from $458,800, the 2,864-square-foot 3101 Plan includes three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a living room with a see-through fireplace, dining room with a niche, laundry room, and split three-car garage. Its kitchen features a dining bar and morning room with media niche and optional fireplace, and its master suite has a fireplace and two walk-in closets. Options include a fireplace at the courtyard entry, a casita or gym, and the third bedroom may be converted into a den with optional fireplace.

The 3102 Plan measures 3,074 square feet and offers three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, living room, dining room, and island kitchen. Fireplaces and media niches are featured in the family room and master bedroom, and optional fireplaces are available in the living room and master bath.

The home also includes two walk-in closets in the master bath, a laundry/hobby room, courtyard entry, optional second floor guest suite, two trellis-covered patios and a three-car garage. Its third bedroom may be converted into a den with an optional fireplace, which results in the removal of the third bath and extension of the kitchen pantry. It is priced from $462,800.

"We are genuinely proud to be offering home buyers two single-story floor plans that offer both flexibility and great appointments," Stall said. "The optional casita or gym in the 3101 Plan and the separate guest suite or office in the 3102 Plan have been popular with home buyers who are in need of a little extra space."

The homes also includes front-yard landscaping with irrigation and accent lighting; ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, kitchen, nook and laundry rooms; 10-foot ceilings in select rooms; structured wiring; and security systems.

The kitchens have granite counter tops, gas cook tops, self-cleaning double ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, recessed lighting, double cast-iron sinks, pantries, and sit-down wet bars.

The homes can be further customized through the builder's Sunsation Program.

The 738-acre community will consist of 1,116 homes upon completion. Priced from the $350,000s to more than $2 million, the one- and two-story designs range from 2,300 to 5,300 square feet with as many as six bedrooms and four-car garages.

Some homes will align two Arnold Palmer-designed 18-hole golf courses, one of which is complete.

Other amenities include a golf practice facility, golf pro shop, sports club, supervised children's play center, aquatic center, outdoor grill, tennis center, clubhouse, formal and casual dining, and meeting rooms.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to the Sahara exit and go west. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
